Batch Processing
We offer our institutional partners comprehensive solutions for the digital display of the values they possess in the most demanding way, and for the complete preparation of exhibition materials.
The following examples show how we can correct the most common errors.
Correction of image damages due to storage
Discoloration, physical injury, oil slick or other organic contamination? We know of no obstacles when it comes to repairing damaged files. We do not undertake the restoration of the original files, but we make the most of the digital copies! Lesions affecting the entire image are treated in batches, while individual lesions are retouched one at a time.
AI-based resolution boost
For a rare, hard-to-access, or even already destroyed file, only a low-resolution digital file may be available to the institution. With our artificial intelligence-based image and video management software, we are able to enhance existing files. We set up state-of-the-art techniques to bring maximum detail.
Reduction of optical image defects
Optical image defects typically occur when using lower quality lenses. One of the most common, most spectacular defects is the appearance of chromatic aberration, which is most noticeable in contrasting details and on the outside of the image field. With our software solutions, we are able to completely eliminate this error as well.
Minimize digital noise
One of the basic characteristics of a digital image, is the presence of image noise. You can also see yourself using a variety of image capture devices, scanners, cameras, camcorders. Disturbing red, green, and blue pixel-level color shifts can make digital files demanding to display. To the best of our knowledge, we will help you eliminate this distraction!
Upgrading an obsolete stock
Restorers of collections that preserve old prints, paintings, photos, and videos are well aware that a stock can age and change its properties on its own, despite the perfect storage conditions. Moving sensitive files can also increase their damage. Using these retouched retouchings, we are able to make the most appropriate digital repairs
AI-based image sharpening
When shooting or recording video, it is easy to blur when lighting is poor.
Widely known imaging applications do not produce satisfactory results in this case. Instead of general sharpening algorithms, we rely on artificial intelligence-based methods that are able to infer missing sharp pixels.
Multi-view, interactive display of objects
While we make spaces “walkable” with our 3D virtual walk service, we are able to do the same with individual objects. In the case of more complex, multi-view objects, we photograph them around them, and then combine the completed images into interactive content, video or GIF images that can be embedded in a website or a virtual walk, as required.
Unification of stocks
Images of various elaborations look less well when grouped together. As part of standardization, we ensure that the color, gradation, and contrast settings of individual images are standardized. The settings are adjusted to the properties of an arbitrarily selected sample image, taking care of the histogram of the image, thus achieving the most precise standardization.
Perform related graphic work
We think in complete workflows. From file preparation to reproduction-recording, post-production, and printing to installation, we help you deliver the content you want to display. Thanks to our test charts and controlled workflows, the colors of the original stock are returned on the printed prints.
